Culinary Art Schools | Gracia Studio

Cleanness and orderliness define Culinary Art Schools, and it’s really all needed when seeking to respond the project’s requirements, located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. It is located with not very much in its surroundings, which is why the two main volumes face each other, creating a transition space: the grand plaza. The greater volume contains the administrative offices, classrooms, library, and the wine cellar. On the second main volume, the cooking stations, with absolute transparency between it and the plaza, as well as with the other workshops. “We are always in-between, inside and outside simultaneously”, says Inés Moisset; a third volume is involved, which accommodates the cafeteria and a small auditorium, where the alumni are able to observe their professors’ work. When Princess Jibrin told her mom she was interested in following her path and pursuing a career in nursing, she says the response was a mix of excitement and caution.  She will work some 14-hour days, Jibrin’s mom, a recently retired critical care nurse in Hamilton, Ont., told her. “She will see things that take a toll on her mental health — things that “break” her.”, she recalled of the conversation.  But Jibrin says nursing is her calling.  “You’re going to be doing what you love and you’re going to be helping people at the end of the day,” she said.  Jibrin is one of the thousands of people who applied for a spot at an Ontario nursing school this fall, as some programs report a record number of applicants.

These Unique Programs and Courses Engage NJ Students of All Ages

You’ve heard of overpriced, oversold promises from self-help coaches and New Age retreats before. (And who wouldn’t be vulnerable to being duped after these past two exceptionally challenging years?)  The rise of snake-oil salesmen is no secret to anyone reading the news or binge-watching Netflix’s extensive true crime or reality TV selections. (One of the most notable examples: Billy McFarland of Short Hills, an alum of Basking Ridge’s prestigious prep school, Pingry, who was convicted of fraud in 2018 after his ill-fated Fyre Festival.)  Yet the trailblazing Master of Arts degree in happiness studies—the first of its kind in the country—promises to be different. It’s being offered at Hackettstown’s Centenary University this fall.

Ushering in new life: My day shadowing two certified-nurse midwives

Do you remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books? I used to love them when I was younger. The interaction and immersive nature of each story had me turning page after page to see what would happen next and where my choices would take me. As I reflect on my time shadowing certified-nurse midwives Alisa Felke, CNM, PPG – OBGYN, and Shelly Boone, CNM, FNP-C, PPG – OB/GYN, I can’t help but notice the similarities. Every door they walk through is like a new chapter where they face a variety of characters, challenging and beautiful situations, and learn to embrace everything life throws their way.
