Five $10,000 grants, funded by Massage Envy, will be awarded to massage schools in the month of December. Massage Schools can apply for a grant through AMTA’s website. According to the U.S. Government’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of massage therapists is projected to grow 20 percent to 2031, “much faster than the average for all occupations. About 25,200 openings for massage therapists are projected each year, on average, over the decade.” To apply for a grant, massage school administrators should fill out an online application and include how $10,000 would help support their school and students. Applications are due October 24, 2022 and the five school recipients will be announced in December 2022.
